MSNBC and KTUU in Anchorage just reported that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has hired a private attorney to defend her and her staff in the Troopergate investigation. As I said before, this is only the beginning of this story.

Palin’s lawyer has apparently contacted MSNBC and indicated that he was hired two weeks ago and represents not only the Governor, but also the staff in the Governor’s office. The Alaska Governor’s office does not have a regular attorney on staff.
