What do you mean it’s over!!!!!!!!????????? It WOULD HAVE been over, in affairs of the state of Alaska, if she had been elected VP, but now we’re STUCK with her as governor. …that’s the BAD news. Now for the GOOD news…….looks like she’s really got her ‘heart’ set on political posts outside the state of Alaska, that is, if God sees fit. You know, I’ve got to run now. I realize I have something much, MUCH more pressing and IMPORTANT, to do…………I have to go to the nearest church and pray, pray……PRAY! Talk to you later. Oh yah, I have to go buy the drug store too and pick up some lipstuck. I need to send a gift……it’s to someone outside the state of Alaska. I’m not exactly sure what the address is, but….that’s easy to find out. Just look for the hottest, most publicized campaign of the DAY. Republican….was it? At least for now, you never know about “mavericks”!

How do President Elect Obama’s past associations equate to clear abuse of power in an office of public trust? The Constitution grants freedom of association, it does not however allow for corruption and dereliction of duty.

She has ruined the chance of McCain every being elected, she brought down a great man. McCain will regret agreeing to nominate her for the rest of his days. Palin will forever be the Alaskan idiot who brought down the Republican Party. Shame Shame Shame on Sarah Palin, Wasilla’s village idiot! I’m voting for Obama for fear that she could ‘God Forbid’ actually rule the free world.

I don’t find this any more appalling than connections to a 60’s bomber and a Chicago ‘real estate acquirer’ that has been indicted.

Wrong on both sides should be addressed. Let’s throw the both of them out and just have McCain run against Biden.

Palin should ABSOLUTELY be impeached for dishonoring and completely disregarding the findings of the investigation which says she has NO respect for her associates in government.

I agree it’s disgusting. Governor Palin and Todd Palin used their office to advance a personal vendetta against Mike Wooten. I didn’t say that: the Branchflower report says that.

She had a lot of other options she could have pursued in this matter that were in the interest of the State of Alaska. She could have worked as Governor to ensure that the Alaska Department of Public Safety has appropriate measures in place to ensure future Troopers found guilty of breaking the law receive harsher punishments. She didn’t do that. Governor Palin and the “first dude” pursued a personal, vindictive path: they just wanted her former brother-in-law, Wooten, fired, despite his already having been adjudicated.

Wooten’s actions were reviewed by the authorities in Alaska according to their laws and he received punishment by the Department of Public Safety on those violations where he was found to be guilty. The Palins didn’t find the “rule of law” satisfactory, so they tried to use other means to hurt Wooten further…and they did this under the auspices of the Governor’s office: thus, abuse of power. Thus, an impeachable offense.

Growl all you want, but you might want to read Wooten’s testimony from his hearings on the “charges” the Palins levied at him and the Branchflower report before assuming that what the Palin’s did wasn’t completely vindictive. I’ve read hundreds of pages of material on the Palin’s quest to destroy Wooten.

I’m sorry. It’s ugly…and I’ve come to believe that they are ugly people.

I cannot believe people want to impeach Sarah for NOTHING!
What has she done wrong? What has Todd done wrong?
Really? What would have any of you done in the situation at hand? Yeah……go ahead……..say you would have done everything they did and then just let it go……..but, when lawsuits would come and the state has to pay someone for the wrong doings of the public safety officer or a state trooper…..Who must answer? Yeah………I thought so.
So…….all you Pro Obama People……..go ahead, vote for the liar, deciever, messiah……whatever you want to call him and you will pay your dues in Freedom!

Well Obama is going to have to come up with a strong response to the consistent lying and smearing going on over there with “honorable” John McCain and vindictive running-mate, or I’m not sure what’s going to happen. Seems pretty clear that McCain gave the go-ahead to do anything to win. Pretty pathetic considering that Bush/Rove did it to him.

I still think Obama is gonna win but the Palin pick has energized the conservative base enough that they will actually come out and vote, which means the HUGE losses I was predicting down the ballot (in the Senate and House races) won’t be as big as I previously thought.

But as a whole I still think the GOP ticket is still swimming upstream against a general mood for change in leadership.
