Concerned about Sarah Palin’s performance, John McCain asked for a parent-teacher conference to discuss her performance on a recent test and to express his concern that the test had “trapdoor”/trick questions. Well, not really, but it sure seemed like it.
I guess Palin really did “Phone-A-Friend”.

It’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as … Putin rears his head and… ah…comes into the airspace of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are next to… to our state.
Trade missions, eh? Putin flying over Alaska on his way to the United States? This is getting pathetic.
